This washed Honduran Geisha is a real standout, combining an airy mouthfeel with delicate orange blossom and tea-like notes with a good body unlike typical Geisha. Subtle hints of almond, marzipan and fruit add a refined, almost dessert-like quality to this distinctive and memorable coffee.

ABOUT THE COFFEE

Rony owns and manages the 5 hectare land of his farm Kukurucho. It is not only a place for Rony to produce his own lots, but it also functions as a seed bank farm, providing project producers with the opportunity to diversify their coffee varieties. 
For this Geisha lot, the process begins with the careful hand-picking of only fully ripe red cherries, which are then floated for up to 15 minutes to remove low-density fruit and impurities. After floatation, the cherries are pulped without water and laid on covered raised beds to dry slowly over 25 days.
