A returning favourite and we’re always excited to receive a Dak coffee. This time, we’ve selected an anaerobic natural Heirloom from Esayas Beriso in Oromia, Ethiopia. Silky and buttery, with sweet grape soda and intriguing myrtle liqueur with a delicate cashew nuttiness. A beautifully balanced coffee with plenty of sweetness and a distinctive character. A highly unique Ethiopia coffee experience.

ABOUT THE COFFEE

Esayas Beriso’s farm is located in the Hambela Wamena district, in the Oromia Region, Ethiopia and sits at an impressive 2,350 meters above sea level. The Anaerobic Natural process introduces a controlled fermentation stage. After meticulous cherry selection, the cherries are fermented for 72 hours in dry, shaded barrels, with Esayas closely monitoring the process. Once fermentation is complete, the cherries are moved to shaded drying beds, where they are treated similarly to the Natural process before being milled and packed for sale.
