Rare Wedding has a mild citric acidity that is balanced with a sweetness similar to that of black tea . The palate is juicy, with a deep structure and a strawberry finish.
The Raro Boda washing station is owned and operated by Negusse Debela . His SNAP company took over the administration of the Raro Boda washing station only this harvest and this was the first year that SNAP produced its own coffee in the district, or wrada of Uraga. This area is known for the garden coffee cultivation style , with many small owners in the Rare Boda kebele. Coffee trees are a mixture of endemic varieties, as well as varieties 74110 and 74112 chosen by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center (JARC), well known for their high cup quality.
The Uraga highlands, generally between 2,000 and 2,300 meters above sea level, have unparalleled quality potential in the country. Negusse had the opportunity to invest, renovate and manage a washing station located in the Rare Boda kebele, on top of Uraga, about 2,450 meters high. At this altitude, there is a constant cold temperature that allows the washed batches to dry between 10 to 14 days, which gives a clean, clear and stable cup.
Since the beginning of 2019, SNAP controls the entire process, this gives Negusse Debela the ability to control cherry selection, coffee processing and dry sorting.
