Coffee cherries of the varietal SL 28 & SL 34 are cultivated 1700-1800 masl. in the Kirinyaga-region. The area is fertile, with perfect conditions for growing coffee.
Kiangombe Factory opened in 1998 and is located on the western side of Krinyaga district in the Southern part of Mt. Kenya. The coffee is fermented in fresh water before it’s washed and dried on raised beds.
