Description

The long-awaited Ethiopia Siko finally arrived from Africa. From the very first sip it enchanted us with it’s crisp, lime and plum flavors. Tea notes, which are characteristic for this region, in the form of Earl Grey aromas, are not disappointing either. Due to its specificity, we recommend to brew it in a Chemex or V60, which will allow you to extract its full taste potential.

Ethiopia Siko is a coffee we managed to obtain thanks to cooperation with Collaborative Coffee Source and Snap Coffee, who has been licensed exporters in Ethiopia for 10 years. We are particularly pleased that we were able to obtain the coffee beans from the Gaduio Uraga region, because by 2018, coffee from small plantations (less than 30 ha) could only be sold by the special ECX organization (Ethiopian Coffee Exchange). This limited the availability of Ethiopian coffees on the specialty market.

ABOUT The Roaster

Our origins date back to 2009 when Kofeina Art Cafe was founded in Opole. HBCR is directly connected to the owners and employees of this unique place, which in 2016 received the Speciality Coffee Association award as the best Polish Specialty coffee house.

The 10 years of experience in Specialty Coffee industry gave start to the idea of founding Hard Beans Coffee Roasters – a coffee roasting plant specializing in the processing of high quality coffee.

In the future, we are planning to deliver not only coffee-related products but also coffee-based beverages. HBCR is made up of people with passion who share common love. Love for good coffee.
