Brazil Samambaia it’s a delicate, tea-like coffee with sticky mouthfeel and medium body. Dry aroma hits with the intensity of cookies and cashew nuts. After brewing, you will get a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, which is rarely found in coffee from this region. Due to it’s character, this coffee will taste great in most of the pour-over brewing methods, extracting biscuits, caramel, milk chocolate flavors, balanced with red apple acidity.
Henrique Dias Cambraia, farmer of Fazenda Samambaia, attributes the success of his farm to a combination of various factors, not least: the farm’s geographic location; competent technical management of the plantations, constant training based on total quality control programs; and, most importantly, the involvement of the whole team that works on the farm.
This farm has large experimental plots where new varieties are trialed, which was seen and appreciated with many awards for its high-quality coffee, including Cup of Excellence.
